The three of them are the same person.

Shani is (supposedly) the host personality. Basically - she's a coward. The other two personalities are stronger than she is, so she relies on them a lot. She's very unsure of herself.

Secretly, I think it'd be really cool if she could have a crowning moment of awesome in which she stands up for everyone, fights and wins.

Altan is pretty much the opposite of Shani. (He's also a guy.) Relaxed, cool and confident. Kind of upbeat, even in tense situations, but not to the point where it gets unnerving. He just seems to be the kind of person you can't ever faze.

He pops out when the host body's in danger. Thankfully he's managed to save them up till now. He's not particularly concerned about Flann- she can take care of herself, but he worries for Shani. He doesn't mind her being so overly reliant, but...it's not good, is it?

Flann is cold, calm and calculative. (Red oni blue oni dynamics with Altan?) She's the official registered thief, though the only jobs she takes are kill jobs. There is absolutely no dere involved. None at all. 0%.

She comes and goes when she feels like, though it's usually on agreement (some kind of a schedule? so she can go do her work when she needs to), otherwise some kind of emergency that Altan, for some reason, can't handle.

Altan and Flann have about the same level of fighting ability, incidentally. Altan is just less interested in killing people. Though Flann's interest is really only just about earning enough to keep them alive.

Flann, like Altan, also cares for Shani. She doesn't worry so much about Shani's dependence though, just thinks that as long as she can protect whoever she needs to, it's okay. I guess this means she doesn't trust people that much. Just her own self is okay.
It'd probably be amusing if she and Altan were at loggerheads or something, but they tolerate each other since they have the same goal (to keep Shani and the host body safe). Being part of the same person, they watch out for each other.

???
There's supposedly a fourth personality that goes around killing people in spectacularly violent fashion at some point in the story later on. Apparently, none of the three can really communicate with her.

I'm toying with the idea that this is really Shani...
