Hover over the characters for their names and descriptions! Some disparities may exist between the text contents and this page. The ones here are more important. Though not always absolutely important. Also, roughly chronological order for each section.

major

Universes that have, at some point in my life, been the most important thing and lasted for several years

Subeta
subeta.org (old; circa 2004)

A bunch of kids/gijinka pets from the petsite Subeta. They live in one house and do random things.

All of them except for NaOH exist as my pets on the site. They're very old and though the universe isn't clearly defined (it just follows Subeta's general setting), these were the first of my characters that were settled in one universe.

Purple Sky: a band with Rush on lead guitar, Kara on drums, and I'm pretty sure there was a bishounen bassist somewhere. Maybe there was a keyboardist. They live separately from the rest of the group.

Angels
post-apocalyptic world with zombies demons

Much of civilisation has been reduced to rubble after clandestine experiments to accelerate human evolution failed, producing hungry zombies known as demons, instead. Tian is a bounty hunter who exterminates these demons for a living, with Wu Yue at his side.

Band AU: Tian and Yue are the leads of two rival bands at the top of the charts, but are secretly living together. An unfortunate reporter happens.

Graffiti
slice-of-life with kemonomimifkjs;dlf

Graffiti artist Sols and his friend Equinox (friend's character) live in the same house, and funny things happen when compulsive liar and age-shifter Inori shows up.

Girls' side: tbh I didn't think about this too much. It's a girl party basically

thieves and swindlers; Subeta again 2010
Sometime in the far future in a certain city, corruption exists. Phones that produce solid holograms also exist. The result is an underground network of thieves-for-hire, and the latest, biggest bounty is on the recovery of a particular phone.

Somewhere in the city in a certain cafe, a waiter in secret possession of the phone exists. The regular all-thief customers of the cafe also exist. The result is...?

World's End
augmented reality, virtual reality, and intrepid explorers
General

It's about a century in the future and developments in augmented reality and virtual reality have made those an intimate part of everyone's lives. To put it simply, you're living the video game life. Everything is great tbh, almost totally immersive gaming experience, going out while physically remaining at home, general convenience and all that. Urban legend has it, though, that the already highly-developed AIs are gaining sentience, and that if you're unlucky, you might stumble upon the place they call World's End and never wake up from the experience...

My corner of WE revolves around Alex and her friends as she wanders the city to uncover clues about her friend's brother's mysterious coma.

There are various groups in this universe:
Tetromino is a top-ranking PVP battle team of four, on the universal VR battling platform.
Endgame is a cult dedicated to sending humanity into the virtual world.
Puzzle Party (might change the name) is an AR/VR based puzzle game where players travel across the city to find clues to solve puzzles. The 3 mascots are a capricious cat, determined dog and a (currently) missing mouse.

Starfinder

A side story, a small thing that happened in WE. A couple of weeks after Giovanni's best friend Campanella dies, they meet again on a train - however, all that's left is a fairly unstable collection of data that makes up Campanella's consciousness. To Giovanni, it doesn't make that much of a difference, but for Campanella, what meaning does his own life hold...?

Inspired by Night on the Galactic Railroad.

minor

Currently WIP and have the potential to become major universes or dropped into diminished if I lose interest.

Twintales
Twins universe

A fantasy universe where all people with magical capabilities are born as a pair of twins. By the land's customs, the younger twin is turned into a magical beast to identify the pair as magic users and to strengthen the magic. Still a WIP.

Toshobu
Welcome to the library club!

An ordinary(?) library club in an ordinary(?) school. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly they do, but it's probably very ordinary(?) stuff. Relative to the school, anyway.

Considering adding another club to the school - the do-it-all club. Maybe they can have heated school-sanctioned battles every week or something.

Traveller's world
The world is not beautiful,
A self-declared king on a self-declared journey to see the self-declared wonderful world.
Rule of art: nothing larger than a doodle is allowed to go without a background or at least supporting props, because the king declares it to be so.

augmented

AU-based character groups. AUgmented haha get it These characters are still important but can't really be classed under major universes.

Quartet
bunch of kids from 2000-ish; 黒歴史/everything needs revamping
Some kids that have the ability to transform into mythical creatures with the help of special pendants. As I never settled on their home universe's details (when is this ability going to be useful in a normal situation anyway?) I guess they're more of a collection of characters than a real universe.

These were among the first ever characters I created, initially as Digimon fan characters then were moved out of that, and for a while were AU fodder. Yukiko was the first; the rest solidified years later.

All AUs are canon
Two kids, almost complete opposites, very close friends. Their hobby is scambaiting - pretending to fall for a scam and leading the scammer on, draining them of resources and time so they're less likely to scam other innocent people. Now what if the scams were promises of different lives in different universes?

diminished

Universes are not of my own creation. Original characters, though.

Miscellaneous
misc characters

Pokemon trainers

To rehouse: characters I'm fond of that ended up not getting enough attention in their home worlds.

idk tbh
